I have new clients come to me who have already tried building a website, or they had a graphic designer without coding experience build their website. If only there was a way for me to talk to business owners BEFORE they got started. Schildbach Design has 15 years experience testing the many products that build and market your online presence. It is sometimes as simple as knowing what technologies to use, and what to avoid. Much of web design has become drag and drop and filling out fields. But you still need someone who knows where to begin, the process, and the tools that create a successful online presence.

There is no Content Management System better than WordPress. It’s versatility is unparalleled. For simple sites, there are plenty of options that work fine. But, once you get into anything unique in terms of selling products, showcasing your work, or marketing your business, there is a path for most anything imaginable in WordPress. I have developed sites for events, audio, video, magazine formatted content, products, and a wide variety of services. The platform allows for custom coding and drag and drop. You can create portfolio websites and shopping carts. I’ve tried other systems for websites and nothing compares.

SEO & SERP

In 2023 I’ve increased my services for SEO. More than one client came to me saying, “Something is wrong, I’m not getting as many calls.” All of these clients had something in common, we hadn’t worked on their SEO in a while. In the mean time, things changed for Google with the new Analytics 4, and their algorythms changed too. Anita Nowacka, a Seattle portrait photographer for kids, a Seattle Family Photographer, and a Seattle Wedding Photographer, told me her job calls were declining. I audited her website with my SEO tools, WhiteSpark Local Rank Tracker, and Pro Rank Tracker, and the results were apparent that her site needed several revisions to the code and content.
